Calenbot Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Calenbot (the “Service”) provides scheduling and notifications for Discord servers. This policy explains the information handled by the bot, web console, and public website, and how it is used. This English text is a reference translation of the Japanese policy, which is authoritative. If they differ, the Japanese version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1. Information we collect

We use Discord authentication for sign-in to the web console.

Features that help you create events send the content you enter or select to Cloudflare Workers AI for interpretation.

2. How we use information

We use this information to verify identity and access rights, provide and improve the Service, save settings, sell the paid plan and manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, and address service errors. We may use information about use of the website and web console to analyze usage and measure advertising performance.

3. Visibility to others and external services

Depending on settings and how information is shared, event and scheduling content may be visible to members of the same Discord server or to anyone with a shared URL. Identifying information about respondents may also be displayed. Anyone with a calendar subscription or scheduling URL may view the content served by that URL, so take care when sharing it. See Data & permissions for details about visibility.

We use Cloudflare and Discord to provide the Service and Google Fonts to display the web console and public website. Information needed for these functions may be sent to those providers. For paid plan payments we use Stripe, Inc. and its affiliate Sold through Link, LLC (Link), and send them the purchaser's Discord user ID and the subscribed server's ID to identify the purchaser and the subscription. Both companies are based in the United States. Except where required by law, we do not provide personal data to third parties beyond what is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

4. Retention and deletion

As a general rule, we do not automatically delete events, settings, or records related to notifications, subscriptions, and visibility. We keep them until we receive a deletion request. Related records may remain after the bot is removed, a member leaves a server, or an event is deleted in the interface.

Temporary information and data from completed scheduling polls expire or are deleted after periods appropriate to their purpose. Some drafts may not be deleted automatically. Information may remain in operational logs or recovery history for a period after deletion from active systems.

5. Security and requests

We use access controls and other measures to protect information. You can ask for details about security measures through the contact address below.

To request notification of the purposes for which we use your retained personal data, or to request access, correction, suspension of use, deletion, or suspension of third-party disclosure, contact us with your request and any information you know that helps identify the data. We may ask for more information to verify your identity. We will review your request and respond without undue delay. We will explain any limits on what we can do in individual cases.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The web console uses cookies to maintain sign-in and check the security of authentication. We may store display language and interface preferences in your browser.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to analyze use of the Service, improve it, and measure advertising performance.

7. Changes and contact

When we change this policy, we will post the changes and effective date on our website. Where possible, we will announce changes that materially affect users in advance. Where the law requires consent, we will obtain it before the change takes effect. For questions, contact support@calenbot.app.
