Plans made in Discord,
kept on your team's calendar.

When the team picks a time in Discord, add it to the server calendar. Members can check the same calendar later, and participants who subscribe also see those events on their personal calendars.

The chat ends at “Thursday at four,” but it’s not on the calendar.

Agreeing in chat is not the same as having a shared schedule. If everyone copies it into their own calendar, the team still does not share one place to look.

When it stays in chatWith Calenbot
  • When it stays in chat: The time is agreed, then the message scrolls awayWith Calenbot: It lands on the server calendar
  • When it stays in chat: Everyone copies it into a personal calendarWith Calenbot: Participants who subscribe get it on their own calendar
  • When it stays in chat: People dig through logs to ask “when was that?”With Calenbot: Members look at the same calendar

From adding it to the day itself, follow it in Discord and on your calendar.

Here is the flow for a Thursday 4 PM check-in decided on Tuesday. Subscribe once with a calendar URL and the events you join show up on the calendar you already use.

  1. 2:07Tue PM

    Create it in Discord

Run /event in Discord, choose Add Event, then pick the time and participants. You can also create or edit events on the web.

  2. 2:08Tue PM

Check it in Discord and on the web

Find it later in Discord or on the web calendar. Recurring meetings are supported.

  3. WedDay before

See it on your personal calendar

With a subscription URL, events you join appear on the calendar you already use.

  4. 10:00Thu AM

The day’s events arrive in the morning

Every morning at 10:00 (Japan time), the day’s events are posted to their channels.

  5. 3:55Thu PM

A reminder just before it starts

A reminder arrives within the five minutes before the start. Notices delete themselves once they are no longer needed, so the channel stays clean.

Events from your servers, together on your own calendar.

View events across servers in one web calendar. From Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or another iCal-compatible app, subscribe to the events you join. You get one private subscription URL and choose which Discord servers feed into it.

  • Google Calendar
  • Apple Calendar
  • Outlook
  • Any app that accepts an iCal URL

Show the event only to people who can see the channel.

When an event is created, Calenbot starts from the users and roles that can view its Discord channel. You do not need to rebuild the audience from scratch for every event.

Start from the channel audience

For a private channel, the event starts with the users and roles that can view that channel at creation time.

Invite people or roles

Choose event participants from Discord users or roles.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to what people usually check before adding the bot.

Read about stored data and permissions
Does it cost anything?

It is free to use. Each server can have up to 5 active recurring events, and a per-server paid plan (USD 4.99 per month (tax included)) raises this to 50. The sales terms are in the Commercial Transactions Act notice linked at the bottom of the page.

Which Discord permissions does it request?

The bot requests View Channels and Send Messages. It also uses Discord’s Server Members Intent to connect selected people and roles to events.

Can everyone see every event?

Events created in a public channel are visible to everyone in the server. For a private channel, Calenbot copies the users and roles that can view it when the event is created. Later channel-permission changes are not automatically applied to the event.

Is it only for Google Calendar?

No. Any calendar with standard iCal subscriptions can work. Refresh timing depends on the calendar app.
